Our date with Amber

Last night we went to a football game to see Amber (one of my sorority sisters ) LOVED seeing her! She lives in Texarkana so we don't ever get to see her! Sad, sad.. anyway! We met Amber and Bennett at the stadium in Royse City, we even go to sit in box seat! AWESOME! Hope we will see them again soon!

My Last Day With Mollie McKay

Well, today is my "final" day with my dear little Miss Mollie! So sad and heart breaking that I have to leave her tomorrow! BUT, unfortunately, with my spending habit, I MUST work! I must, I must pay off my debt so that I won't have to work 8:30-5:30.. I know, I know, it's not that bad. I just feel like I will miss EVERYTHING! I didn't think it would be this hard. I admire all those mommies that are away from their babies for longer than what I have to be. How do you get through it? Everyone say that time will heal, we will see! On a "happier" note! Mollie and I played a little dress up tonight. Here is what came out of it~~I know the pictures aren't the best, but I still think she's beautiful!

We like big bows and we can not lie!

Hey now, you know you think she's pretty stinking cute in her bows! I think she looks like a boy when she doesn't have one on! Apparently so do other people, seeing how they always ask how old HE is! Geez! She's dressed in PINK head to toe! Ha! These are a few of her many bows! ( My boss LOVES her in bows! LOL)

No, I didn't dress her up... yes, I'm a bad mommy! ha! But I still think she looked pretty darn cute! My dad and his wife came to see us for her first Halloween! It was a nice visit and hope to see them again soon. Mollie loves her Pappy! After our company left she took a little nap, then it was time to welcome our Trick-or-Treat ers. It started off with a scream...literally! The doorbell rang and we all~Josh, Bella, Mollie and I~ went to pass out candy and see all the cute costumes. We had it all worked out! Josh holds the dog and the candy bowl, I had Mollie and would open the door and pass out the candy! To my surprise, when I opened the door a kid SCREAMED at us ! Scared Mollie and she screamed! Let's just say that the mommy in me came out! lol! That concluded Mollies evening of greeting the kiddos! Oh well, next year will be better!

Mollie's first of MANY trips to see her aunt Misti went really well, she slept the whole way there! While we were there she got to meet her cousins Garrett and Nathan and meet uncle David. She was little miss popular too! There were many, "can I hold her"s... everyone had to fight her nana to get to her. My mom is a baby hog, but I can't blame her.... she is pretty darn cute! Mollie also went to her very first football game!! We went to go see cousin Jaci sing at the Harker Heights varsity game Friday and then we saw cousin Nathan play on Saturday. We had a fun time and couldn't wait to go back!

First Bath!

It's a weird feeling.... Knowing that you are responsible for someone else....

Her first bath, we were so clueless! Too hot? not hot enough? In the sink? or in the tub? So many decisions! How about~ in the sink and the tub! lol! Her poor little face was so broke out from a reaction to some medicine that we gave her! Bless her heart! Her baths got better as time went on!

I got up Wednesday morning and went to the doctor for a check up. (I was due on 08.17.09) All they could tell me was that she was in position and that my cervix was thinning. They wanted me to take it easy and they'd induce me the following Monday. They scheduled me a sono for Thursday to check the how much fluid she had and put me on a fetal monitor. She was moving and everything looked good. I left their office discouraged..she was NEVER going to come out!! I went and ate lunch with my mom, then home to rest. Josh came home, we ate dinner and watched some TV.... I just couldn't get comfortable no matter what way I moved or sat.. So around 9 I decided to go to sleep...maybe it would help. THEN at 9:45 I woke up and jumped out of bed..something felt funny... I RAN to the bathroom and POP my water broke!! (yuck) I yelled for Josh to get up! My water broke!! I jumped in the shower to clean off and then we were off to Presby! They set me up in a room and told me that she could stay inside for up to 18 hours! WOW! The hours went by and the nurse kept offering me the epidural..no,no..I am fine....ok,ok! I'll take it! Then they started the pitocin. Still nothing!

Finally they came in and let me know that I was still at a 4 and they suggested that I have a c-section. SCARY!!! I cried and cried...and cried some more! They wheeled me to the operating room, gave me another epidural, sheeted me and let Josh in. I cried some more...yes very emotional! lol! They doctor let me know that they were going to give me something for my nerves! Ha! All I remember after that is music playing, the doctors talking to each other and seeing Mollie McKay McEntee for the first time! She was born at 4:08 pm, 8lbs. 5oz, 21 1/4 inches long and she was beautiful!
